Suhair Mudallal, MA. Principal

Assalamu Alaikum AIS Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Al Huda Islamic School (AIS). It is with great pleasure
and enthusiasm that I extend my warmest greetings to all new and returning members of our
school community. We are excited about the opportunities and experiences that this academic
year holds for us all.
At AIS, our mission is to provide an environment where students achieve academic excellence
while learning to love and practice Islam as a way of life. We are dedicated to nurturing highly
effective communicators who can connect to global and local communities, positively impacting
them in meaningful ways. Our goal is to develop united, dedicated citizens who demonstrate
great characters and become agents of social change.
AIS provides students with:
     • A challenging academic program.
     • An outstanding and committed faculty.
     • Full-day and Half-day Preschool programs.
     • An emphasis on faith, moral behavior, and leadership character development.
     • After school tutoring and homework program, math club, chess club, book club, Arabic club, and computer classes.
     • An amazing PTO committee that supports our work and gives the school a close-knit atmosphere.

We are committed to our four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Patience, and Safety, which we focus on every day.
AIS is providing California common core subjects in addition to Qur’an, Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Health Education classes.

Dear Parents/Guardians, I encourage you to read the Parent/ Student Handbook thoroughly,
which you can find on our website. Please discuss the handbook as a family and ensure you
and your child sign and return the acknowledgement form at the beginning of the school year.

As you decide what is the best school for your child, we encourage you to contact us to arrange
a tour while classes are in session. There is no better time to see what a wonderful place
Al-Huda Islamic School is.
Together, with your support, we can achieve our goals and guide our students to become
strong, independent American leaders with a clear Muslim Identity.
